In June 2023, Root Catalyst installed a brand new garden at the Saint David’s school in New York City, including 10 raised garden beds, two compost tumblers, a toolshed, and two vertical seedling grow towers.
Throughout the process, we engaged the school’s entire 8th grade class in all facets of the installation, and worked with students from the summer HORIZONs program 1st and 2nd graders to plant seedlings.
